Wabadus has always been a cosy and convenient meeting place for the local citizens. In the heart of Tallinn, right next the Freedom Square, it is perfect for smaller and private meetings, but also a very suitable restaurant for bigger events.
The restaurant has a very beautiful freedom-related history. The name ”Wabadus” refers to ”vabadus” which means ”freedom” in Estonian. The establishment was first acknowledged at 1937 as Cafe Kultas. The founder Nikolai Kultas opened a cafe that was mostly visited by young and ambitious businessmen, lawyers, engineers and doctors.
Wabadus offers a wide range of modern dishes that have been thoroughly prepared by our chef Fred Ehand. The menu changes twice a year according to the season, so that we could offer the best local products available at that time.
Wabadus remains a popular meeting place today and the II floor is perfect for hosting events for up to 150 guests. The location is perfect for those who wish to organize a party, but also suitable for smaller seminars and gatherings.
You are always welcome to join your Wabadus!
